Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team. As an Automotive Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in vehicles, including engine, transmission, and electrical systems
- Conduct inspections and tests to identify any potential problems or safety concerns
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Follow repair manuals and schematics to ensure accurate repairs
- Perform brake inspections and repairs, including air brake systems
- Service and repair GM vehicles
- Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and advancements, including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems)
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and explaining repairs
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including powertrain, suspension, and electrical systems
- Proficient in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment
- Familiarity with tire service procedures
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Valid driver's license
Note: All positions must be paid including internship positions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $30.00 per hour
