Job description
We are currently seeking an EXPERIENCED automotive mechanic to work at our shop in Hollis, NH. We are a full-service facility that specializes in classic, antique and muscle cars. We do complete restorations, custom built resto mods, and everything in between. We require a minimum 5 years experience as a mechanic. You will need to possess your own tools/tool box, strong knowledge of modern and classic car systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems. Ideal candidates should be well versed with the techniques and materials used in a restoration shop, as well as being very detail oriented and a critical thinker. Must be a reliable individual with a proven work ethic, passionate about taking care of the customers and communicating well with team members to ensure customers are receiving accurate service in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in vehicles. (Engines, transmissions, electrical systems, etc.)
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve efficient and timely project completion.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each project.
- Must have strong knowledge of electrical systems and different wiring harness manufacturers.
- Must be able to work with limited supervision.
