Position Overview: As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Volkswagen vehicles in accordance with dealership standards. Your expertise will ensure that our customers' vehicles operate smoothly and reliably, contributing to their overall satisfaction and loyalty to our dealership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repair services on Volkswagen vehicles, including oil changes, brake services, and engine repairs.
- Diagnose vehicle issues using diagnostic tools and equipment, and provide accurate repair recommendations.
- Execute repair orders efficiently while ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to Volkswagen's specifications.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers to explain vehicle issues, repair options, and costs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and dealership policies.
- Stay updated on the latest Volkswagen technologies, repair techniques, and service procedures through ongoing training and professional development.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; automotive technical training or certification preferred.
- ASE certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Previous experience as an automotive technician, preferably with Volkswagen vehicles.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
