Auto Installation Technician for Emergency Vehicles

Some mechanical aptitude and/or automotive experience with great attention to detail is a plus. This opportunity provides the candidate to grow as they increase in their mechanical skills, receive training and education in upfitting vehicles for emergency responders.

Schedule
- Full Time-Hourly
- Typical Schedule is Monday- Friday 7:30 A.M. – 4:00 P.M.; some overtime required.
Compensation
- $20-$24 Depending on experience
- Bonus potential after satisfactorily completing initial training period.

Primary Responsibilities
- Removal of factory interior and exterior equipment and parts.
- Installation of specialized emergency vehicle Lightbars, Emergency lighting, Push Bumpers, Sirens, Controllers, Speakers, Partitions, Window Bars, Prisoner seats, Gun racks, In Car Video, Computers, License Plate Recognition and much more.
- Attention to detail as it relates to job progress and tracking of hours.
Attributes of a Strong Candidate:
- Ability to work with hand and power tools such as, screw drivers, wrenches, hand drills, etc.
- Capability to bend, twist, reach and lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
- Aptitude in mechanical, electrical, and electronic components from various sources a plus.
- Capacity to work independently and/or in a team environment.
