We are the new Auto Care shop on the corner of Marsh and Haslett RD servicing the Haslett, Okemos, Bath, and East Lansing areas. At our facility, we’re committed to one thing: providing customers with a quick, quality, and professional auto care experience. We know how important the vehicle is to our customers and how busy their schedules may be and we work hard to accommodate those needs! We take pride in the transparency and professionalism of our automobile servicing. Our services include but are not limited to general repair, preventative maintenance, check engine light diagnostics, brake repair, tire repair, A/C repair, engine carbon cleaning, transmission repair, fleet services, and more!
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team. As an Automotive Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and showcase your skills in automotive repair.
AES CERTIFIED
Required Hours:
4 day week 10 am - 6 pm
Saturday Required 10 am - 3 pm
```Duties```
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
- Conduct brake repairs and replacements
- Repair and replace suspension components
- Weld and fabricate metal parts as needed
- Perform powertrain repairs and replacements
- Service and repair automotive electrical systems
- Use diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle issues
- Keep accurate records of all repairs and services performed
```Experience```
Michigan State Certified in two areas.
Brakes & Braking System and Steering & Suspension
To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience:
- Minimum of [3] years of experience as an Automotive Mechanic
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including brakes, suspension, powertrain, and electrical systems
- Experience working with diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle issues
- Previous experience working in a dealership or automotive service center is preferred
- Familiarity with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) is a plus
