Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Body Technician to join our team. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including vehicle maintenance, auto body repair, and detail work. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and repairs, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
- Conduct thorough auto body repairs, including body panel replacement, collision repair, and paintwork.
- Utilize hand tools and airless paint spraying equipment to achieve professional results.
- Provide accurate auto estimating services to ensure fair and competitive pricing.
- Assemble and install new parts, including body panels, doors, and bumpers.
- Conduct thorough detail work to ensure vehicles are clean and free of defects.
- Collaborate with other technicians and shop staff to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards and protocols.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in auto body repair and restoration.
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in an automotive repair or dealership setting.
- Proven experience with auto body repair and restoration, including collision repair and paintwork.
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair principles.
- Experience with hand tools and airless paint spraying equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or certification in auto body repair or restoration preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
