Service Technician
American Response Vehicles (ARV) is looking for a full-time Service Technician in our Columbia, MO, location. This position is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to serve first responders and local communities in the region. Motivated and team-oriented individuals will learn new skills while working towards an Emergency Vehicle Technician certification.
This position requires attention to detail, this technician will be the first person to check in new vehicles with an eye toward quality. This position will be responsible for the removal of certain items before the unit goes to the graphics department. Once graphics has completed their part you will reassemble the items that were removed so the unit can move to the service department. This position is critical to the continuous flow of new units through our process. It is our team mission to provide Emergency vehicles to our customers that are complete and ready for service.
The following requirements apply:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical repair experience preferred
Service Technicians:
- Conduct repairs and custom modifications/installations on ambulances and fleet vehicles
- Provide positive interactions with the service team, leadership team, parts department, vendors, and customers
- Display effective communication with others
- Work safely and follow company safety standards
- Maintain a high level of personal cleanliness
- Exhibit a strong work ethic and are self-starters
- Work efficiently and safely
- Maintain a clean work area
- Provide quality workmanship and attention to detail
- Work well in a team but also excel while working independently
- Are willing to learn new skills in HVAC, electrical, and fabrication
- Perform various other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
