Job Overview - How You'll Contribute:
The H+H Group is growing our Team at the Omaha Recon Center (ORC)! We have a BRAND-NEW, State-of-the-Art Facility in the Steel Ridge Auto Mall! We are looking to add a Flag Hour, Used Car, Automotive Reconditioning Service Technician to our Team! In this role you will work on basic repairs, such as tires, brakes, and routine, light-duty maintenance. You will need a basic set of automotive tools, a quality mindset, and desire to work with a fast-paced team of outstanding Technicians! Pay range of $85,000 to $100,000 for Experienced Automotive Technicians)
- Three high-volume brands feeding one 17,000sq ft. State-of-Art Facility for all Reconditioning needs.
- Averages over 400 used car repair orders (RO) per month.
- All Certified Pre-Owned Inspections automated to replace filters and wipers.
- Majority of work consists of tires, brakes, alignments, batteries, shocks and struts.
- Heavy Line work completed at main stores, our focus in Recon is Time-to-Market.
- Repair problems in a vehicle.
- Test-drive the vehicle to ensure the work is fixed right the first time.
- Perform work as safely and efficiently as possible.
Qualifications - What You Need to be Successful:
- Experienced Automotive Technicians.
- The ability to read, and comprehend information and perform calculations.
- The ability to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer.
- Perform bending, pushing, climbing, leaning, twisting, reaching, kneeling, crouching, and other maneuvers associated with the position.
- Operate a motor vehicle cautiously and safely.
- Lift/move items up to 100 lbs.
- Operate motor vehicles with manual and automatic transmissions.
- Operate necessary equipment, both manual, and power driven in a safe manner.
