Responsibilities:
- Install windshields and auto glass from a mobile operation.
- Repair chips
- Do diagnostic checks
- Calibrate vehicle electronics using a device called ADAS. The recalibration is done on vehicles that have Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision, Heads up display, etc.
- Must be able to interact with customers on every job to ensure customer satisfaction with a job well done.
- Collect payments and process them with a mobile Clover device.
- Must be able to maintain a professional appearance and have a positive attitude.
Experience is necessary
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have a reliable vehicle
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, twist, walk, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning
- Must be able to maneuver around vehicles to position yourself safely during the installations
- Must be able to work in the hot/cold weather conditions
- Must pass a drug test for safety
As Auto Glass Technician, your job description would be to:
- The primary function the Auto Glass trainee is to assist Auto Glass Installers with windshield installation jobs.
- During the installation of automobile windshields, with removal of the damaged windshield, prepping the vehicle for the new windshield. We do use a lil buddy system to help with installing all windshield into the vehicle.
- Applying adhesive and using primer to all bare metal scratched areas to insure correct adhesion.
- Removing cowl, moldings, wipers, screws, bolts, and clips before glass installation and repairs and replacing them thereafter.
- Identifying issues that may affect glass installation, such as rust or vehicle damage. Removing all dirt and debris from pinch weld.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
