You will work with cutting-edge technology mixed in with some old-school technology. All training and expenses are paid for whether in-shop training or at an off-site GM facility.
Due to our business growth, we are seeking an experienced Chevy Medium Duty Technician with PA State Inspection and Emissions Licenses in our Service Department in our Palmyra, PA location. Customer service is our primary focus, as we need the ideal candidate to deliver excellent customer service.
Position Overview
The Lead Chevy Medium Duty Service Technician is responsible for diagnostics, vehicle repair, and maintenance work in accordance with dealer and factory standards. Technician should hold Class 1 and 7 state inspection licenses. Technician will also work on Class 1 vehicles during the work week.

Responsibilities
- Experience with 4500, 5500, and 6500 series
- Strong diagnostic skills required
- Duramax experience preferred, Diesel experience required
- Work with Service Advisor and perform work described on Repair Order as needed
- Diagnosis of any concern or malfunction and repair in accordance with factory standards
- Perform MPVI's on customer vehicles from a safety, maintenance, and reliability standpoint
- Work with the Parts Department to obtain necessary parts
- Advise the Service Advisor of additional service work that is necessary
- Repair order documentation is aligned with repairs and the three C's
- Perform all necessary factory training whether in-house or at a training facility
- Perform other assigned duties
Qualifications

4+ years of Service Technician experience preferred

High school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification, a plus

A and B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair

PA emissions and inspection license required

Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination

Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment

Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
