Our successful service center is looking for an
Automotive General Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for developing relationships with a large base of both new and long-term customers. Daily responsibilities include overseeing vehicle intake, interfacing with technicians and shop personnel for service/repair estimating, as well as communicating with customers for RO approval in accordance with industry best practices. The position requires that one develop effective and efficient ways to navigate daily responsibilities. Including, but not limited to, communicating with shop personnel and other managers, generate leads, provide thorough follow-up, and completing sales transactions. You will be responsible for interfacing with senior management and providing leadership within the front office.

Responsibilities
- Educate customers on the service/repair process, set and communicate timeline expectations, build brand loyalty, and close sales transactions.
- To communicate with technicians and accurately estimate work using industry labor and repair guides.
- Oversee the day-to-day activities of the service center while maintaining a high degree of employee morale.
- Track prospective business and existing customers using our company’s POS and CRM systems.
- Foster high customer satisfaction through the car service experience, encouraging referrals and repeat business.
- Track sales on a regular basis and forecast market changes and identify future opportunities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required, a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of five years of automotive maintenance and repair experience, with at least one year in a management role, is preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- Strong working knowledge of the automotive industry. Prior experience within the Baltimore automotive aftermarket is a plus!
- Proficient use of computers, e-mail, and Microsoft Office. This includes industry data tools such as ALLDATA and Mitchell1. Our facility uses ROwriter for its POS and ERP system.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are required
