GENERAL SUMMARY
The Audi Technologist instill passion for technology and the Audi brand. They amplify the driving experience and get customers excited about the possibilities of their new product. They are a living embodiment of the Audi brand— a brand ambassador who is actively present as the customer experiences Audi products. As the go-to person for technical questions about our products, the Audi Technologist owns our elevated delivery experience and follow-up, demonstrating the power of Audi through technology and a superior customer-centric experience.
HOW WOULD I FIT INTO THE OPERATION?
You would be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:
- Ensures a detailed understanding of all Audi models, technology, and accessories.
- Assists with product demonstrations when expertise is needed, especially technology aspects such as driver assistance systems, Quattro, e-tron etc.
- Performs vehicle walkthrough
- Performs delivery follow-up, leveraging previous knowledge of the consumer to enhance the experience. This includes providing valuable resources to help the customer continue to learn (myAudilQ, etc.)
- Helps customers configure all settings in their new vehicle, e.g., myAudi/Audi connect, driver assistance systems, mobile phone pairing and set up
- Provides product training to dealership staff as needed
- Acts as an internal contact person for Audi technology questions for all dealership departments
- Supports marketing and social media actions
WHAT SKILLS SHOULD I POSSESS?
All members of the Sales team are specialists in their own field and therefore have individual skillsets and personality attributes. The Audi Technologist should possess the following skillset and attributes:
Verbal Skills. An Audi Technologist is able to analyze written or spoken material to understand very quickly identify what the "main thread" is and what their counterpart needs, whether it be a customer or a colleague.
Meticulous Attention to Detail. A focused working style enables the Audi Technologist to be highly accurate in their work and not make any relevant mistakes. This would include clearly explaining complex features to customers without error.
Reasoning. The ability to analyze information and come to the right conclusions enables the Audi Technologist to master difficult tasks. This ability gives them the necessary foundation for developing impressive, tailored vehicle deliveries as well as understanding new developments and applying them in their daily process as needed.
Technology Comprehension. This provides the Audi Technologist with a foundation for many of their tasks. They can easily comprehend the technical aspects of a car or a specific feature and effectively explain them to customers and colleagues.
Customer and Team Orientation. The Audi Technologist is helpful by nature. They are there for the customer with help and advice. This means that for an Audi Technologist, customer and team orientation primarily involves helpfulness and hospitality.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/FORMAL QUALIFICATIONS
While previous work in the automotive industry is valued, the following aspects of professional experience are viewed positively.
- Previous experience in luxury retail or customer centric environment preferred
- Hospitality, technical customer support and/or consumer electronic experience is a plus
- Valid Driver's License required
