Our company is seeking a skilled and Team-focused individual to join our team as an Automotive Technician. This role is integral in ensuring that vehicles are maintained and repaired to the highest standards, providing our customers with reliable and efficient service. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, work well in a team environment and a passion for the automotive industry.
As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles, performing routine maintenance and ensuring that all services are completed timely and efficiently. Your expertise will directly impact customer satisfaction and contribute to the overall success of our automotive service center.
- Perform accurate and timely diagnostics on vehicles to identify issues.
- Execute repairs and maintenance tasks, including engine repair, wheel alignments, tires and brakes.
- Conduct state inspections and preventive maintenance services.
- Collaborate with service advisors to discuss vehicle issues and required repairs.
- Document all work recommended to be performed digitally.
- Ensure that the work area remains clean and organized.
- Participate in continuous training and development to stay updated with industry standards.
- Previous experience as an Automotive Technician is required.
- Certification from a recognized automotive training program is preferred.
- BONUS: Strong diagnostic skills and knowledge of automotive systems and repairs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills to explain technical issues to customers and service advisors.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
