We are looking for a motivated skilled technician to repair most cars and trucks up to 1 ton vehicles. This individual must be capable of making decisions for repairing vehicles based on good diagnostic skills, using all the tools available to them, right the first time, in an efficient manner. Responsibilities
- Treat all co-workers, customers, and vendors with dignity and respect.
- Assist the team in maintaining company image with strong customer service skills
- Perform thorough vehicle inspections using a tablet
- Test components and systems using diagnostic tools with a focus on preventative maintenance
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, wheel alignments, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc.
- Road test vehicles
- Continuously learn new technical information and techniques
- Maintain an clean, organized, and safe shop
- Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures for vehicle to the service advisor
Skills
- Proven experience as Mechanic
- Excellent knowledge of automobile repair, electrical and other systems and their components
- Aptitude in using various hand tools (screwdrivers, hammers etc.) and precision measurement tools (e.g. calipers)
- Ability to follow established procedures and practices and read instructions, etc.
- A strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines
- Very good communication skills
- A problem-solving ability
- Very good physical strength and stamina
- High school diploma is preferred; Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is a definite plus

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
