Matt Blatt Mitsubishi is seeking a Mitsubishi Certified Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidates will have a solid foundation of technical knowledge and hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance. As an Auto Technician, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of automotive services and assisting in diagnosing and repairing various vehicle issues.
Mitsubishi certification required.
Compensation dependent upon experience.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance services, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
- Conduct diagnostic tests using specialized tools and equipment to identify vehicle issues
- Perform repairs and replacements of automotive parts, including brakes, suspension components, and exhaust systems
- Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting complex automotive problems
- Keep accurate records of services performed and parts used
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding repair recommendations and timelines
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines in the shop
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Auto Technician in a dealership or independent shop setting
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- ASE certifications (or equivalent) in relevant areas (such as Engine Repair, Brakes, Suspension, and Electrical) preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
