We are looking for someone with strong diagnostic and electrical skills.
Responsibilities:
- Must be able to conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify or diagnose issues
- Able to complete repairs, Replacement, or Adjustments on various components including Steering and Suspension, Air Conditioning, Engines, Transmissions, Brakes, and Electrical Systems
- Perform maintenance operations such as Oil Changes and inspections, tire rotations, fluid services
- Properly identify problems and plan repair procedures and parts need using manuals, experience or guidance
- Utilize Diagnostic tools to accurately troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Keep detailed records of all repairs and maintenance work performed and also document any needed maintenance or repairs
- Able to work in a shop environment with minimal supervision and be able to follow directions
- Must be able to work safely and complete task on time
- Keep work area clean, recycle fluids and old parts as necessary, empty trash
Requirements:
- Valid and insurable driver's license
- 2+ years of professional automotive experience preferred
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and shop information systems (e.g., Mitchell, Identifix, Alldata)
- Strong communication skills and solid understanding of automotive systems
- Punctual
- Own basic tools (specialty shop tools and equipment provided)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stay updated with ongoing training
