Heartland Tires and Treads of Omaha is looking for the right candidate (s) to fulfill our Commercial Tire Tech position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Dismount, mount and balancing of large semi tires on customers’ wheels and/or vehicles using the method trained by the company
- Perform truck tire repairs on various size tires in accordance with the method as trained by the company
- Install and/or work on any other products for which you are qualified
- Place scrap (take-off) tires in appropriate location
- Operate all tools and equipment as trained
- Deliver appropriate customer service satisfaction
- Maintain a clean, orderly, safe work area
- Maintain a clean, properly-equipped service vehicle
- Maintain all company equipment and tools
- Work Professionally and accurately without direct supervision
- Respond positively to direction from management
- Be a contributing, respectful team player
- Be punctual and dependable
- Follow the company’s guiding documents (Mission, Vision, Guiding Principles)
- Assist in accurately conducting inventory control
- Participate as directed in housekeeping and maintenance activities
- Abide by all terms and conditions in the Employee Manual
- Drive and operate a fleet service vehicle safely and following all laws
- Perform additional tasks as requested by management
- Perform all safety related practices as per the Employee Safety Manual
- Perform proper lifting procedures
- Report all accidents and incidents immediately upon their occurrence to your direct supervisor
- TIA Certified or willing to become TIA Certified by company-provided training, which includes passing both written and hands-on testing
- Participate in scheduled safety meetings
- Work well under pressure to meet customer and company demands
- Protect company assets

- Requirements;
- Be able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen
- Preferred Chauffeurs license
- Pass a background check
- Strong work ethic
