Next Gen Auto is a performance shop that specializes on BMW and JDM vehicles. We offer both performance, fitment and maintenance for these vehicles. We've recently moved into a new 5000 square foot location and are looking to expand our team. The shop has 5 bays, inbound alignment rack, a dyno, and is air conditioned!
We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Auto Technician to join our team in a fast-paced performance shop environment. We are a performance shop specializing in BMW vehicles as well as a few JDM brands. The primary responsibilities of this role are to perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on various high-performance vehicles, including but not limited to Euro and JDM vehicles. The candidate should be able to work independently as well as part of a team, have exceptional attention to detail, and be passionate about the automotive industry and performance vehicles.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducting routine maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on BMW and JDM vehicles.
- Identify and recommend necessary repairs for vehicles brought in by clients.
- Diagnose issues and faults in BMW vehicles accurately and efficiently
- Installing and upgrading performance parts and accessories on BMW and JDM vehicles.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with manufacturer specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Must have at least 4 years of experience working in a professional automotive workshop with a strong emphasis on BMW vehicles.
- Must have own tools
- Must have a passion for performance vehicles and a desire to stay up-to-date with new technologies.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision.- Ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Familiarity with BMW and JDM performance upgrades
