Position Overview:
As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the collision car center's operations. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong management skills, a deep understanding of automotive repair processes, and a customer-centric approach. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving operational excellence, maintaining high-quality standards, and achieving financial targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- **Operational Leadership:** Provide strategic direction and leadership to ensure efficient and effective daily operations of the collision car center.
- **Team Management:** Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of technicians, estimators, and administrative staff. Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- **Customer Satisfaction:** Uphold the company's commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Resolve escalated customer issues promptly and professionally.
- **Quality Assurance:** Ensure adherence to quality control standards and procedures to meet or exceed industry benchmarks and customer expectations.
- **Financial Management:** Develop and manage the budget, monitor financial performance, and implement cost-effective measures to optimize profitability.
- **Vendor and Supplier Relations:** Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and partners to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials at competitive prices.
- **Health and Safety Compliance:** Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Maintain a safe working environment for employees and customers.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a General Manager or similar leadership role within the automotive collision repair industry.
- In-depth knowledge of automotive repair processes, estimating software, and industry best practices.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Automotive Management, or related field preferred but not required.
