We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs as well as a focus on strong work ethic keeping customer statisfaction in mind. We are a franchised dealership looking for an individual willing to be trained as a franchise certified technician. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dealership setting and receive ongoing training. ASE certification is a plus, references preferred with resume.
**Responsibilities:**
- Perform automotive repairs and maintenance on Stellantis vehicles
- Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify issues and recommend solutions
- Use welding equipment to make necessary repairs
- Estimate auto repair costs accurately
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed on service tickets
**Skills:**
- Proficiency in using hand tools for automotive repairs
- Experience working in a dealership environment preferred
- Knowledge of Stellantis vehicles and their specific requirements a plus
- Strong background in automotive diagnostics and service technician duties
- Ability to maintain and repair various mechanical components
