Feliciana Auto Care is currently searching for a skilled auto body assistant to add to the team at our St. Francisville, LA location. Your primary job in this role will be to assist the Auto Body Technicians on the exteriors of our client’s vehicles. This will involve repairing, replacing, and upgrading a variety of car parts. Our auto body assistants work as part of our larger vehicle care team. It’s important that you’re able to work well with others and capable of demonstrating professionalism in the workplace. If you believe that you would do well as an auto body technician in our shop, then we’d love to take a look at your resume. Experience is preferred but we are willing to train someone highly motivated that is looking to learn a trade.
Auto Body Assistant Responsibilities:
Repair, replace, and upgrade a variety of vehicle parts
Perform diagnostic tests to ensure that all issues have been detected and resolved before returning the car to the customer
Perform cost estimations before beginning jobs
Follow all workplace safety requirements
Prepare cars to be painted by sanding and refinishing them
Auto Body Assistant Requirements:
Previous experience as an auto body assistant is preferred but not required
Ability to utilize a wide variety of car maintenance and repair tools
Basic technological and mathematical proficiency
Ability to follow all workplace safety requirements
Perform other duties as assigned by the manager
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
