Job Summary:
Seidel Hyundai, located in Reading, Pennsylvania, is seeking a skilled and experienced Used Car Technician to join our team. This individual will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair services on used vehicles, ensuring they are in top condition for our customers. The Used Car Technician will play a crucial role in providing quality service to our customers and maintaining the high standards of our dealership.

Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic tests and inspections on used vehicles to identify and repair any issues or potential problems
- Complete routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Repair or replace parts and components as needed, using proper tools and techniques
- Keep accurate records of all services and repairs performed
- Work closely with the Sales team to ensure vehicles are prepared and ready for sale
- Continuously strive to improve quality and efficiency in the service department
- Adhere to all safety protocols and dealership policies
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a mechanic or automotive technician
- ASE certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repairs
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and instructions
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must have PA state inspection and emissions license
