Job Summary:
HAWKINS COLLISION CENTER in Sunbury is seeking a skilled and experienced Body Shop Painter to join our team in Sunbury, Pennsylvania. This is a full-time, flat rate position in the auto industry. As a Body Shop Painter, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality paint jobs on vehicles and meeting customer expectations.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare vehicles for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking
- Mix and apply appropriate types and colors of paint
- Follow manufacturer and dealership guidelines for paint application and curing
- Inspect completed paint jobs for quality and make any necessary touch-ups
- Maintain a clean and organized paint booth and tools
- Communicate with customers to understand their preferences and address any concerns
- Keep up-to-date with new paint techniques and products in the auto industry
- Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations in the workplace
- Collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Body Shop Painter in the auto industry
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and ability to match colors accurately
- Knowledge of different types of paint and their application techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Willingness to continuously learn and improve skills
