Responsibilities:
- Inspect vehicles to assess damage and determine necessary repairs
- Repair and replace damaged body parts, such as fenders, doors, hoods, and bumpers
- Perform frame and structural repairs using specialized tools and equipment
- Perform body alignment and panel adjustment to ensure proper fit and finish
- Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, priming, and masking
- Paint vehicles using spray guns and other equipment to match manufacturer specifications
- Polish and buff painted surfaces for a smooth finish
- Communicate with customers and provide updates on repair progress
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to safety protocols and follow all company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience as an Automotive Body Technician in a dealership or collision repair shop
- Knowledge of vehicle repair and refinishing techniques and procedures
- Proficiency in using specialized tools and equipment
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
