Job Title: Automotive Technician
We are currently seeking an Automotive Technician to become an integral part of our team! An Automotive Technician is responsible for the repair and prevention maintenance of automobiles. Duties include performing emission inspections, diagnostic testing of vehicles, and replacement of components. Auto Mechanic can work on brakes, engines, steering, electrical systems and diesel trucks. Prior experience can be beneficial and certification from a trade or technical school in Automotive or Engineering is desirable for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, transmission flushes, air conditioning re-charges, front-end alignments, battery installations and headlight/taillight installation.
- Maintain a working knowledge of current industry practices in automotive repair
- Conduct extensive diagnostic procedures to determine the source of customer's auto problems and provide accurate repair recommendations.
- Inspect vehicles according to the state’s requirements for emissions and safety.
- Conduct necessary repairs and take vehicles for test drives to verify soundness.
- Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for both the customer and business records.
- Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety.

Each Automotive Technician must be certified and have the experience necessary to provide our customers with optimum service.
Automotive Technician Skills
- High school diploma/GED required
- Willingness to participate in in-house training
- ASE certified beneficial
- 2+ years of service technician experience
- Ability to operate all auto repair tools
- Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment a must
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
