Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Automotive Inspection Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our vehicles through meticulous inspection, testing, and maintenance. This job will entail managing car inventory for the dealership, making sure that the inventory is ready for the lot and ready to sell. This role requires a strong understanding of quality systems and how a vehicle functions properly. As a Vehicle Inspection technician, you will have to greet customers from time to time, so you must be presentable as you will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to quality and excellence.
Duties
- Conduct thorough quality inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Greet Customers and check customers out at a desk.
- Help fulfill day-to-day operations of quality control/ light duty service tech at the dealership/ repair shop.
- Keeping track of car inventory, oil changes, brake repairs, inspections done on vehicles to maintain quality control of vehicles on the lot
- Implement quality control processes to ensure the customer is getting a quality vehicle
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and repairs performed on vehicles.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and develop solutions..
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a service technician role or similar position.
- Familiarity with components and parts on a vehicle.
- A willingness to learn and grow with the team, staying updated on industry best practices.
- Someone who takes pride in their appearance and maintains a professional friendly demeanor.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members.
