Job Description:
Laguna Woods Auto Repair Inc is currently seeking to hire a lube technician to meet our current day-to-day needs who is hardworking and ready to work in a busy facility.
The Lube Technician will be responsible for lubricating cars in a quick, yet thorough manner, and for carrying out his/her responsibilities through coordination with the Service Advisor's. The ideal candidate will provide excellent basic automotive services to our guests by performing the following:
Responsibilities
- Regular repairs and maintenance on vehicles, which include, but are not limited to, oil changes, transmission services, brake-fluid services, windshield fluid replacement.
- Replacing the cabin, fuel, air and oil filters as required and needed
- Performing tire rotations to ensure even tire wear
- Testing tire pressure and adding air as needed
- Thoroughly inspect customers' vehicles for oil leaks
- Complete road-ready safety inspections
- Tire repairs / patching
- Battery testing and replacement as needed
- Keeping garage area clean by emptying trash cans, sweep/mop floor, pick up shop rags and placing them in the proper receptacle
- Other duties
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Basic automotive repair and maintenance knowledge
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record
- 1-2 years of work experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Lube & Oil: 2 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
