Summary
As an Equipment Technician at Robertson's Ready Mix, you will be essential in maintaining and repairing our fleet of vehicles and equipment. This role is vital to ensuring our operations run smoothly, contributing to our mission of providing top-notch materials and service to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of equipment and vehicles.
- Conduct oil changes, inspections, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for repairs.
- Assist in heavy lifting and moving of equipment as needed during maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Collaborate with team members to identify equipment issues and implement solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while working on equipment.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair or heavy machinery maintenance.
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in equipment servicing.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
- Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose equipment issues effectively.
- Experience in vehicle maintenance is a plus but not mandatory.
- Good communication skills for effective teamwork and reporting.
