Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Go-Kart Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing go-karts to ensure optimal performance and safety for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, attention to detail, and a passion for motorsports.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance on go-karts, including oil changes, brake adjustments, and tire replacements.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using tools such as an Ohmmeter and other diagnostic equipment.
- Repair or replace defective parts and components as needed.
- Conduct safety inspections to ensure all go-karts meet operational standards.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on each go-kart.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Keep the work area clean and organized, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar role, preferably with small engines or go-karts.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, including an Ohmmeter.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
- A valid driver's license may be required based on job location.
