```
Duties:
- Perform routine vehicle and landscape equipment maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with vehicles, bobcats, mowers, hedge trimmers, etc., including engine, transmission, and electrical systems.
- Conduct inspections and test drives to identify problems and ensure proper functioning of vehicles.
- Use hand tools and power tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle components.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot and repair complex issues.
- Perform diesel engine repairs and maintenance as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and labor hours for billing purposes.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a mechanic or automotive technician.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Familiarity with soldering techniques for electrical repairs.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with customers and team members.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Certification from a recognized automotive training program is preferred but not required.
