Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Diagnose and repair automotive electrical systems, ensuring all components function properly.
- Maintain accurate records of all services performed on vehicles.
- Align wheels and adjust suspension systems to improve vehicle handling.
- Utilize automotive diagnostics tools to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand vehicle systems and components.
- Weld parts as necessary for repairs or modifications.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle's needs.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair techniques.
- Familiarity with automotive electrical systems and diagnostics.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in automotive technology are a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
