Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be I-car Certified with a strong background in automotive repair and be proficient in various techniques related to auto body work. This role involves repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition while ensuring high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, frame straightening, and panel replacement.
- Utilize power tools and welding equipment to repair damaged vehicles.
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed for repairs.
- Inspect vehicles for structural damage and determine necessary repairs.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair processes and timelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure efficient workflow.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician.
- Proficiency in using power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools.
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal work and soldering techniques.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- A valid driver’s license is preferred.
