Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining and repairing various types of machinery, including industrial equipment and farm machinery. This role requires expertise in diesel engine repair, electrical systems, and the ability to perform heavy lifting. The Mechanic will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in heavy machinery and industrial equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct electrical repairs and troubleshooting on various systems.
- Weld components as necessary to maintain structural integrity.
- Operate forklifts safely to transport materials and equipment within the facility.
- Align and transmit power through mechanical systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance processes and reduce downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on all machinery.
Experience
- Proven experience in mechanic roles, particularly with diesel engines and industrial equipment.
- Familiarity with Caterpillar machinery is a plus.
- Experience with farm machinery maintenance and repair is desirable.
- Strong skills in electrical systems troubleshooting and repair.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
- Certification or relevant training in mechanics or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
