Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with expertise in various systems including powertrain and electrical components. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction while working in a fast-paced environment. Having your own hand tools is a requirement. Shop provides most specialty tools.
Duties
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of automotive systems, including powertrain and automotive electrical systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Utilize power tools and equipment to complete repairs efficiently and safely.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repair orders.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly about repairs needed and answering any questions customers may have.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Skills
- Strong understanding of powertrain systems and their components.
- Knowledgeable in maintaining automotive electrical systems.
- Experienced with Alignments
- Familiarity with using power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for various automotive systems.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues accurately.
