JOB SUMMARY:
The Technician is highly skilled with computers and capable of working independently, strong in performing vehicle diagnostics. This role will conduct software/FOTA (firmware over the air) updates.
RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY ACTIVITIES:
- Ability to diagnose and repair general electrical systems, while maintaining high voltage awareness
- Proficient use of all OBD based diagnostic tools and resources
- Familiar with updating vehicle software system using OBD or remote server based tools
- Follow correct repair order documentation of all repair procedures
- Support pre delivery inspections for vehicles prior to delivery
- Work with the appropriate management software to properly document the vehicle repair process
- Have a passion for sustainable transportation and changing the automotive industry
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma/GED or Relevant work experience
- 21+ years of age, to comply with company driving policy
- Ability to drive a work truck/trailer
- Knowledge of High Voltage systems, Low Voltage systems, and Electric Vehicle powertrains
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized; strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Ability to use basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office, as well as learn proprietary DMS software
- EPA 609 Certification
- ASE Certification(s)
- Must possess a valid driver license
