Duties:
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, such as engine problems, electrical malfunctions, and brake system failures
- Conduct inspections and testing of vehicles to identify potential problems and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues
- Perform necessary repairs and replacements of automotive parts and components
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed on vehicles
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions about vehicle maintenance and repairs
Skills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of automotive systems
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify vehicle issues
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks related to automotive repair work
- Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and troubleshoot complex vehicle issues
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate diagnosis and repair of vehicles
- Effective communication skills to interact with customers and explain technical information in a clear manner
Note: Experience with GM vehicles, welding skills, auto body repair, or sales experience may be considered an asset but are not required for this position.
