SENIOR AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Overview:

We are looking for a seasoned full-time senior automotive service technician to join our team. Must be able to do high-level repairs and have a strong automotive background in service repair. Job Responsibilities for Service Technician

· Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with the dealership

· Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment

· Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems

· Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs

· Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

- Prior experience as an automotive service tech
- Strong background in automotive diagnostics
- Proficiency in automotive repair and maintenance
- Experience with dealership operations and programs

- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods of time
