Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Class 8 truck and trailer equipment repair, demonstrating proficiency in various mechanical systems. This role requires a hands-on approach to diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely.

Duties

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Class 8 truck and trailer equipment.
Diagnose mechanical problems using appropriate tools and techniques.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to complete repairs.
Work with hydraulic systems, ensuring proper function and safety.
Conduct inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues.
Perform brake jobs and suspension repairs.
Provide own wrenches and sockets. Company provides large tools.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 – 50 per week
