Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team. As an Automotive Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in GM vehicles and possess excellent mechanical skills. Duties: - Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements - Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles - Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any potential problems or safety concerns - Perform brake repairs, including pad replacements, rotor resurfacing, and caliper replacements - Align wheels and perform suspension repairs, including shock and strut replacements - Repair and replace powertrain components, such as engines and transmissions - Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues - Keep accurate records of all repairs performed on vehicles Experience: - Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic, with a focus on GM vehicles - Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and powertrain components - Proficiency in performing oil changes, brake repairs, alignments, and suspension repairs - Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment used in automotive repair - Ability to work independently and efficiently to complete tasks within specified timeframes - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail If you are a skilled Automotive Mechanic looking for a new opportunity to showcase your expertise in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
