Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive repair and a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition while ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. This role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Perform automotive repairs including bodywork, painting, and detailing.
Repair or replace damaged sheet metal and auto glass components.
Fabricate parts as needed to ensure proper fit and function.
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues requiring repair.
Maintain accurate records of repairs performed and parts used.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and timelines.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Utilize welding techniques as necessary for repairs.

Requirements

Proven experience in automotive repair, particularly in bodywork and collision repair.
Proficiency in working with sheet metal, auto glass, and fabrication techniques.
Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs.
Experience working in a dealership setting is a plus.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients.
Mechanical aptitude with strong problem-solving abilities.
Certification from an accredited automotive program is preferred but not mandatory.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
