Overview
We are seeking a skilled mechanic to join the maintenance team at Royal New Kent Golf Club. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background with experience in both gasoline and diesel engines. Knowledge of sharpening mower blades is essential with experience in golf maintenance preferred, but not necessary. Willing to train the right candidate in golf-specific maintenance practices. The mechanic will report to and work under the supervision of the golf course superintendent to ensure successful preventative and corrective maintenance of all golf course equipment. The mechanic will also assist the golf course superintendent in planning, budgeting, managing inventory, ordering parts, and record keeping of maintenance on all golf course equipment. The mechanic typically works Monday-Friday 5:30 am to 2:30 pm. Occasional weekends are required. This position is full time and eligible for benefits. Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
