Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and equipment maintenance, with experience in servicing farm machinery and diesel engines. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional customer service while ensuring that all repairs and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Duties

Perform diagnostic assessments on vehicles and equipment to identify issues.
Conduct repairs on various types of machinery, including farm equipment and diesel engines.
Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to execute repairs and maintenance tasks.
Align shocks and struts as part of routine service procedures.
Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repair jobs.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.

Skills

Proficient in automotive repair with hands-on experience in servicing vehicles.
Knowledge of farm machinery operations and maintenance.
Familiarity with diesel engine repair techniques.
Strong ability to use hand tools and diagnostic equipment effectively.
Experience working in a dealership environment is a plus.
Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with clients.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 36 per week

Schedule:

4 hour shift
8 hour shift
Weekends as needed

Experience:

Automotive repair: 5 years (Required)
Automotive diagnostics: 1 year (Required)
