Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Service Technician to join our growing team. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with a variety of tools and equipment.

Responsibilities:

- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections

- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in vehicles

- Conduct inspections and testing of vehicles to identify problems

- Communicate effectively with the Service Advisor regarding repair needs and customer updates

- Utilize automotive electrical systems knowledge to troubleshoot electrical issues

- Use advanced technology and tools for diagnostics and repairs

- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs

- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to guide repair processes

- Ensure all work performed meets dealership and manufacturer quality standards

- Estimate repair costs for customers accurately

Skills:

- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role

- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive systems

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Familiarity with auto estimating software is a plus

- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment

- Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and tools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $45.00 per hour
