Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with a focus on GM vehicles. This role requires expertise in diagnosing and repairing various automotive systems, including electrical systems, and performing routine maintenance to ensure vehicle safety and performance.

Duties

Perform comprehensive vehicle maintenance and repairs on GM vehicles.
Diagnose automotive electrical systems and troubleshoot issues effectively.
Utilize hand tools and power tools to execute repairs and adjustments.
Read and interpret schematics to understand vehicle systems.
Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify problems accurately.
Align wheels and perform suspension work as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Communicate effectively with team members regarding repair processes and timelines.

Skills

Proficient in automotive repair techniques, particularly for GM vehicles.
Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems and diagnostics.
Ability to transmit diagnostic information clearly to team members.
Experience with various hand tools and power tools used in the automotive industry.
Knowledge of schematics related to vehicle systems for effective troubleshooting.
Capability to align vehicles accurately as part of the repair process.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
