Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Smog Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in automotive service and maintenance, with a passion for restoring vehicles to their former glory. The role requires a mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently to diagnose and repair a variety of vehicles.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs.
- Diagnose and repair problems with engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and other vehicle components.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete repairs.
- Work with heavy equipment and lift and maneuver parts and tools as needed.
- Ensure all repairs are completed to a high standard, meeting or exceeding manufacturer specifications.
- Communicate with customers to discuss repair estimates and provide updates on repair progress.
- Collaborate with other technicians to complete complex repairs and projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements:
- A strong understanding of mechanical systems and automotive repair techniques.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment.
- Experience with vehicle maintenance and repair, including auto body repair and auto restoration.
- Knowledge of automotive service and repair software and technologies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and repetitive tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- A passion for automotive repair and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.07 - $30.70 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
