We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair, with experience working on GM vehicles and familiarity with dealership environments. This role requires proficiency in using various hand and power tools, as well as the ability to read and interpret schematics. The Automotive Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring vehicles are safe and reliable for our customers.

*Responsibilities*

- Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.

- Perform routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.

- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and installations.

- Conduct auto body repairs when necessary, ensuring high-quality workmanship.

- Work with Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) to ensure proper functionality of safety features.

- Maintain accurate records of all services performed on vehicles.

- Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and customer satisfaction.

- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.

*Skills*

- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools commonly used in automotive repair.

- Experience with vehicle maintenance practices specific to GM vehicles is preferred.

- Knowledge of auto body repair techniques is a plus.

- Ability to read and interpret schematics for various automotive systems.

- Familiarity with Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) is advantageous.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 – 60 per week

Schedule:

Monday to Friday
Rotating weekends
