Job Description:

As an Automotive Technician at Mike Johns Imports, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and repairing vehicles, ensuring they meet our high standards of safety and performance. Your responsibilities will include performing routine maintenance, complex diagnostics, and various repair tasks on a wide range of vehicles. We are seeking a technician with a solid background in automotive repair and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.

Diagnose and repair various vehicle issues, including engine, transmission, and electrical problems.

Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs.

Use advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose and fix vehicle problems.

Keep detailed records of all work performed and parts used.

Ensure a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols and procedures.

Collaborate with service advisors to provide accurate repair estimates and timelines.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an automotive technician with expertise in European and Japanese vehicles.

Strong understanding of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.

Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.

ASE certification or equivalent technical training is a plus.

Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
