Fleet Truck Tires is a rapidly growing commercial tire vendor with operations in Bristol, and Westminster VT. We are currently looking for an Experienced Tire Technician/Mechanic to join our team, based out of Bristol VT Location.

The ideal candidate MUST have a passion for passenger cars and trucks and a commitment to providing high-quality service. You will diagnose, repair, and perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, ensuring our customers' safety and satisfaction. We are a growing business, come grow with us. Duties/Responsibilities:

Prepares tires for installation; mounts and dismounts tires on rims and vehicles of all sizes. fills tires to the proper air pressures.
Examines and probes damaged, defective, or flat tires to determine the extent of damage and the feasibility of repair; and recommends the disposal of non-repairable tires.
Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, and electrical systems
Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately identify problems
Cleans the shop and and organized work space, return tools to proper location.
Maintains inventory of replacement parts and equipment.
Inspects tools and equipment to ensure they are in working order.
Updates maintenance and repair logs for vehicles.
Communicate effectively with customers and co-workers about their vehicle's needs and repairs

Required Skills/Abilities:

Knowledge of vehicle repair,
Excellent mechanical skills on passenger cars and trucks.
Ability to follow instructions.
Ability to use power and hand tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read service and repair manuals as needed.
Ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely fashion.

Education and Experience:

· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Experience is a must ( 2-3 Year Requirement )

Physical Requirements:

· Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.
· Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present.
· Must be able to lift at the min of 50 pounds at a time.
