Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team who is punctual and reliable. The ideal candidate will have expertise in automotive service and repair, with a strong mechanical knowledge base. We perform all repairs except transmission and major internal engine work. Currently we are only looking to fill an "A" or "B" tech position, no entry level position is available at this time. NYSI license and tools required. We utilize software from: Mitchell and Identifix.

Duties:
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake replacements
- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues using schematics and diagnostic equipment
- Conduct inspections to identify worn or damaged components
- Align and balance wheels to ensure proper vehicle handling
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed

Experience:
- Proven experience in automotive repair and service
- Familiarity with automotive electrical systems and powertrain components
- Proficiency in using hand/air tools and diagnostic equipment
- Previous experience working in a dealership setting is a plus

Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge
- Ability to maintain and repair vehicles efficiently
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving automotive issues
- Experience aligning wheels and balancing tires
- Familiarity with reading schematics for troubleshooting

This position offers the opportunity to work in a environment where your skills will be valued. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 4:30PM - no weekends. Retail only repair shop - no affiliation with dealerships. Position is hourly, not flat rate. Strong and loyal 30 year plus customer base.
