Description:

Process shipping and receiving of goods, supplies, RMAs, materials and equipment
Inform proper management of any discrepancies that arise and aid in correcting the problem
Perform the check-in process for all inbound items, with accuracy, including proper inventory product labeling and placement into correct bin locations and processing bin transfers as needed.
Perform the shipping process for outbound items, with accuracy, including proper shipping, packaging and labeling processes to prevent damage and freight loss and discrepancies.
Build kit jobs accurately use and abide by the Job Traveler and its processes.
Complete all sections of Job Travelers properly, including proper inventory product labeling, placement into correct bin locations or processing bin transfers as needed.
Inform management of any discrepancies that arise and aid in correcting the problem.
Conduct safety inspection of applicable equipment to the department as defined.
Identify and present to management possible improvements in processes, equipment, layout, etc.
Maintain organized and clean department work areas.
Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures listed in the Handbook.

Requirements:

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. Certificate and two years increasingly responsible experience in a warehouse facility
Good working knowledge of email, freight company software, and inventory shipping and receiving software
Modern warehousing and storekeeping procedures including shipping, receiving, proper and orderly storage, optimum space utilization and stock inventory procedures.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
Proper forklift operation, safety, and certification

Physical Requirements:

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
Must be able to lift and carry up to 70 lbs.
Occasionally ascends/descends a ladder and stairs
Must be able to stoop, crawl, kneel and maneuver around parts and equipment
